Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a General Manager II to oversee a large, complex distribution center in the United States. You will lead a team of 200-400+ associates, manage a $40+ million budget, and drive safety, efficiency, and customer service across all DC operations.

You will collaborate with Store leadership, Merchandising, Finance, HR and Asset Protection to optimize performance, while modeling Home Depot's values and ensuring on-time, damage-free merchandise delivery to stores and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Willingness to relocate; flexible schedule; weekend/holiday work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the distribution center's financial, operational, people and process objectives to drive efficiency.
• Evaluate and adjust work methods and staffing to optimize workflow and layout.
• Collaborate with partners across Supply Chain, Operations, Merchandising, Finance, HR, Asset Protection, Stores.
• Coach and develop Associates; maintain a union-free, employee-centered environment.
• Ensure store and customer needs are met; manage KPIs and responses to issues with Stores/Customers.
• Maintain a safety-focused culture per Home Depot policies and metrics.
