Job summary

Tryfacta, Inc in San Jose is seeking a Temporary Senior Information Systems Analyst to lead Dayforce Payroll implementation, configuration, testing, and support for a large public agency that supports essential water, environmental, and infrastructure services.

You will analyze business requirements, configure payroll, validate processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with Payroll, HR, Accounting, IT, and implementation partners throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Dayforce Payroll implementation experience.
• Experience with payroll processes (earnings, deductions, taxes, retroactive pay, year-end).
• Experience with configuration, testing, data conversion, integrations, and reconciliations.
• Experience with payroll GL processes and labor distribution.
• Experience in software analysis, development, support.
• Minimum 6 years of software application programming and systems analysis.

Responsibilities

• Configure and validate Dayforce Payroll functionality including pay groups, calendars, earnings, deductions, taxes, overtime rules, retroactive pay, and direct deposit.
• Support end-to-end Dayforce HCM Payroll implementation from requirements through go-live.
• Document requirements with Payroll, Benefits, Accounting, and HR teams.
• Lead design, development, implementation and maintenance of complex enterprise applications.
• Conduct SIT, UAT, and parallel payroll testing.
• Validate payroll reports, audit reports, reconciliations, and payroll-to-GL interfaces.
• Analyze business requirements and recommend technology solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll and application issues.
• Develop technical documentation, user procedures, and training materials.
• Provide weekly project status updates and stakeholder communications.
