Job summary

Offset Strategic Services in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Senior Datalinks Engineer to serve as the primary datalinks SME for PM UAS. The role requires autonomy across engineering and acquisition disciplines, solving complex problems, and guiding technical strategy for UAS datalink capabilities.

The ideal candidate will lead engineering reviews, coordinate with government and industry partners, and support product offices with RF/datalink expertise.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of RF, datalink, encryption concepts (AES-256, COMSEC, TRANSEC).
• Experience leading technical teams across multi-discipline programs.
• Ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable plans and brief senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate a comprehensive UAS datalink strategy and roadmap.
• Provide technical oversight for datalink development, integration, qualification, and sustainment.
• Lead technical reviews, coordination with labs, agencies, and contractors.
• Support product offices across portfolios with RF and datalink expertise.
• Evaluate threats, spectrum, and EW considerations affecting datalink systems.
