Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Technical Lead - Datacenter Deployments at Offutt AFB, NE. You will direct hardware staging, imaging, and rollout of end-user devices, while ensuring security and compliance across the datacenter.

You will coordinate with ServiceNow, manage task allocation, and uphold high standards for asset sanitization, DRMO processes, and physical deployments in a government environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Current Top Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE.
• ITIL 5 Foundation and DOW 8140 certifications within 9 months of start.
• Imaging, firmware flashing, hardware diagnostics familiarity.
• Experience with IT Service Management tools (ServiceNow).
• Knowledge of DRMO, data sanitization, and security guidelines (NIST SP 800-88).
• Understanding of datacenter environments and cabling/power layouts.

Responsibilities

• Queue optimization and incident triage using ServiceNow.
• Allocate deployment and troubleshooting tasks based on capacity.
• Quality assurance of deployments against standards and safety guidelines.
• Handle technical escalations for complex issues.
• Lead pre-deployment preparation: imaging, firmware, OS updates.
• Perform hardware rollout: endpoint imaging, configuration, networking basics.
• Standardize workstation builds for consistent ergonomics.
• Conduct secure data erasure on end-of-life media.
• Operate media destruction equipment with audit logging.
• Coordinate DRMO processes and custody transfers.
• Rack-and-stack and cabinet mounting for devices; power routing.
