Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a hands-on Technical Engineering Lead to ensure mission success across enterprise infrastructure, platforms and cloud environments. You will serve as the technical authority for complex system issues, driving modernization, optimization and secure, compliant operations.

You will lead cross-functional teams to implement and upgrade cloud and on‑prem solutions, while creating detailed design artifacts, engineering docs and leadership briefings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience across network, compute, storage, OS, middleware, databases and applications.
• Experience documenting as-is infra, platform and application architecture.
• Ability to design detailed engineering plans for modernization and migrations.
• Experience leading cloud and on-prem integrations and deployments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills for IaC and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on systems engineering across multi-stack environments.
