Job summary

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is seeking a Hardware Technician Lead to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the physical IT equipment supporting a strategic DoD program. The role involves configuring servers, switches, routers, and firewalls, diagnosing hardware issues, and managing racks and cabling to keep deployed systems mission-ready.

You will act as the senior technical authority for sustainment, driving reliability improvements, obsolescence planning, and lifecycle

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 6+ years in progressive hardware repair, sustainment engineering, or similar.
• Experience leading sustainment engineering for fielded hardware or integrated systems.
• RAM analysis and lifecycle sustainment experience.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting servers, switches, and network equipment.
• Experience with obsolescence management and DMSMS mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and network equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hardware failures and connectivity issues.
• Replace components such as drives, memory, power supplies, and cables.
• Perform server and network equipment installations, upgrades, and replacements.
• Manage cabling, racks, patch panels, and physical network infrastructure.
• Conduct hardware preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Track equipment, serial numbers, warranties, and inventory.
