Job summary
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Database Specialist Solutions Architect to help Healthcare and Life Sciences customers migrate and modernize critical data workloads in the cloud.
You will architect end-to-end database solutions using relational and non-relational engines and translate business needs into scalable, secure cloud designs. You will lead migration assessments, optimize performance, and collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to influence roadmaps and drive
Qualifications
- 8+ years of technology domain experience in areas like cloud computing, data & analytics.
- 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications/infrastructures.
- 10+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end database solutions for HCLS customers, leading discussions on migration and modernization strategies across databases.
- Lead migration assessments, performance optimization engagements, and architecture reviews.
- Provide strategic technical guidance through 1:1 advisory sessions and 1:many workshops.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to influence roadmaps and translate requirements into enhancements.
- Mentor field Solutions Architects through knowledge sharing and office hours.
