Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Data Services team to elevate our database systems. You will work hands-on with Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kafka and related tech, building automation around large-scale cloud-based systems.

You’ll partner with Engineering and Customer Support to diagnose time-sensitive production issues and maintain secure, highly available data infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/CIS/Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with large-scale datastores and cloud environments.
Strong collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain deep understanding of data components (Cassandra, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and operate/configure clusters.
Develop infrastructure services to support a DevOps model.
Troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues with Engineering and Customer Support.
Keep petabytes of business data safe, secure and available.
