Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a senior data engineer to help build and operate a hyper-scale data lake for analytics, threat hunting, and ML workloads.

You will own crucial graph database work, contribute across pipelines, and work with Java, Spark/Flink, and Kubernetes in a primarily remote setup with targeted NYC-area collaboration. You will design scalable data solutions, ensure fault tolerance, and optimize performance while collaborating with remote teams and leveraging AWS native

Qualifications

• BS in technical field (CS, IT, Computer Engineering) or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 10+ years experience in backend/cloud and data platform roles.
• 5+ years building data platforms or features with Spark, Flink or Ray; at-scale DBs like Pinot, Druid or Iceberg.
• 5+ years programming in Java, Scala or Kotlin; Python acceptable with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Write fault-tolerant Java code within Spark, Flink and OLAP/Time Series DBs to support platform products.
• Design, develop and maintain ultra-high-scale data platforms processing petabytes of data.
• Participate in technical reviews and drive new features and stability.
• Improve efficiency and reduce latency of high-performance services for customers.
