Job summary

R Systems is looking for a senior data/BI engineer to drive enterprise BI and data warehouse initiatives in a hybrid setting. You will lead a team, design scalable data models, and integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into analytics platforms.

We expect 10+ years in data/BI, 5+ years leading teams, and hands-on with Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow, dbt, and major BI tools. Hybrid work is available with onsite presence in West Sacramento, CA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data/BI engineering or analytics.
• 5+ years leading a team of at least 3 members.
• 5+ years with AI/ML or GenAI technologies.
• 2+ proven deliveries of production-grade BI or data products.
• 2+ years with ETL/ELT, Snowflake/Redshift, and orchestration tools.
• 2+ years using OpenAI APIs or similar LLM platforms for analytics.
• 2+ years of SQL, data modeling, and hands-on BI tool experience.
• 2+ years leading analysts/developers with stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts and developers to translate requirements into BI solutions.
• Deliver enterprise BI and data warehouse projects with production-grade quality.
• Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling for analytics platforms.
