Job summary

Enova International is seeking a Senior BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions and analytics across Finance, Marketing, and Operations. You will collaborate with business owners, translate requirements, and own projects end-to-end while advancing AI use in BI workflows.

You will architect complex SQL/Python processes, enhance ETL/ELT pipelines with Astronomer Airflow, and build data warehouses and dashboards using Snowflake and MicroStrategy/Looker/PowerBI.

Qualifications

• Expert-level SQL and database skills.
• Experience with relational databases and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift).
• 4+ years designing ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow or similar.
• 4+ years with enterprise BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Looker, PowerBI).
• Experience using AI tools in daily work (Claude, Gemini, AWS Bedrock).
• Strong business acumen and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver reporting solutions.
• Lead end-to-end technical initiatives from design to execution.
• Build and maintain multi-layered SQL and Python reporting processes.
• Architect ETL/ELT pipelines using Astronomer Airflow and orchestration tools.
• Mentor team and oversee projects from scoping to delivery and support.
• Develop data marts and data warehouses using Snowflake.
• Create dashboards/reports in Strategy (MSTR) and comparable BI tools.
• Identify and apply AI use cases to drive insights and adoption.
