Job summary

RugsUSA in Manhattan is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to design, build, and support our data warehouse and BI platform. You will work with Snowflake, Sigma, Fivetran and dbt to deliver reliable data and actionable insights for stakeholders.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence 3-4 days per week; you will collaborate across teams, model data, build dashboards, and ensure data quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Software Engineering role with data focus.
• Experience developing and supporting Snowflake, Sigma, Fivetran/dbt stack for enterprise BI.
• Experience in data modeling, ELT/ETL, and CI/CD for data warehousing.
• Experience with Sigma for dashboards and governance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stand up data warehouse and BI tooling as part of the enterprise stack.
• Design, implement, maintain and support Fivetran–Snowflake–dbt–Sigma architecture.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into reporting solutions.
• Develop performant data models and visualizations for cross-functional units.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Analysts and Data Governance to deliver trusted data.
• Build backend and front-end structures to meet reporting needs.
• Create dashboards from wireframes and ensure data flow accuracy.
