Job description

Location: Sacramento, CA (local to Sacramento, CA preferred). Public Sector Experience is Highly Desirable.

Minimum Technical Qualifications

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience with full life cycle of Data Warehouse technical design and development including logical and physical data modeling, mapping data elements from various data sources and loading Data Warehouse objects including dimensions, hierarchies, fact tables, and aggregates, building the Reporting Metadata layer, as well as building the reports.
• At least 5 years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in architecture design and implementation of business intelligence and predictive analytics on cloud-based Data Warehouses.
• At least 3 years of using DevOps tool chains and processes.
• At least 1 year experience of Generative AI architecture design and AI application development.

Desirable Technical Qualifications

• 10 years of experience of data warehousing like: SQL Server, Snowflake, and/or AWS Redshift.
• 3 years of experience of using ETL tools like Informatica, AWS Glue, or Talend.
• 3 years of experience of Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
• Cloud Architect certifications and AI certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
