Job summary

MAXIMUS leads data warehousing initiatives across government, health care and human services. This Lead Engineer - Data Analytics Tech role focuses on engineering and expanding the MAXIMUS data warehouse, implementing secure, scalable analytics pipelines, and enabling BI teams to access trusted data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering plus 7 years of experience performing data analysis and developing data integration solutions.
• Experience with system and requirement analysis, design and development, SIT/UAT support and production rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve the engineering behind MAXIMUS’ data warehousing for government, health care, and human services industries.
• Maintain and develop the data warehouse while ensuring data security controls, debug, code and develop internal systems for BI teams.
• Lead system and data analysis, including BI, database and ETL/ELT processes following MAXIMUS standards.
• Produce system impact analyses and diagrams of entity relationships, processes and data flows.
• Develop custom frameworks and ETL/ELT ingestion pipelines in Streamsets; migrate from MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server to Snowflake.
• Lead analytics solution design to meet project requirements and future changes; monitor and enhance deployments.
• Perform unit and integration testing; support test/production environments and coordinate with DevOps teams.
