Job summary

DoorDash Labs is seeking a software engineer for its data visualization team to own applications that introspect robot data across the Dot platform. You will bridge sensors, logs, diagnostics, telemetry, and mission intel, delivering intuitive, high-quality tools with end-to-end ownership of backend and frontend systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development.
• Fluency with React and Typescript.
• Experience in 3D computer graphics.
• Comfortable independently identifying and solving problems with high levels of ambiguity.
• Excel at working cross-functionally with stakeholders up and down the stack.

Responsibilities

• Build tools that help users across autonomy, operations, product, and executive teams understand robot behavior both on-road and in simulation.
• Expand upon extensive web tooling for interaction with time series data, video playback, and 3D scene reconstruction.
• Maintain a robust C++ visualization framework for transforming robot data into informative and beautiful 2D and 3D web output.
• Develop a portfolio of data introspection capabilities to support an expanding fleet of next generation robots.
• Maintain a high bar for quality and take pride in your work!
