Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build and scale data foundations that empower fast, reliable insights. You will partner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver analytics initiatives and trusted metrics across teams.

You will own canonical datasets, pipelines, and dashboards, ensuring data quality and scalability. This role requires strong SQL, Python/Scala, and experience with Looker, Tableau, or Sigma.

Qualifications

• 2–6+ years in BI/analytics, analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong SQL for data transformation; proficient in at least one programming language (Python/Scala).
• Experience creating reporting and dashboards with Looker/Tableau/Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists/engineers and business stakeholders to translate needs into data requirements.
• Develop data products and self-serve tools to scale analytics across the company.
• Build canonical datasets and ETL/ELT pipelines with data lake/warehouse concepts.
• Design metrics and visualizations using dashboarding tools.
• Uphold high data integrity standards and promote reusability.
