DoorDash Labs is seeking a software engineer to own data visualization applications for introspecting robot data. You will bridge sensors, logs, diagnostics, telemetry, and mission intel for the Dot autonomous fleet.

You will architect and develop end-to-end systems with autonomy, setting roadmaps and delivering intuitive, performant tools for diverse users. You will work on a robust C++ visualization framework and 2D/3D web outputs, expand tooling for time-series data, video playback, and 3D

Qualifications

DoorDash Labs is an independent robotics group within DoorDash working on autonomous solutions for the core business. About the Role

As a software engineer on the data visualization team you will own the applications used to introspect robot data. Bridge the gap between sensors, logs, diagnostics, telemetry, mission intel, and a diverse set of users across the Dot team. You will be expected to architect and develop systems with a high degree of autonomy. You will set roadmaps, identify opportunities for new systems, and execute. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field 5+ years of experience in full stack software development Fluency with React and Typescript Experience in 3d computer graphics Comfortable independently identifying and solving problems with high levels of ambiguity Excel at working cross-functionally with stakeholders up and down the stack.

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.

$193,800 - $285,000 USD
