Job summary

DoorDash Labs in New York is seeking a software engineer on the data visualization team to own applications that introspect robot data and bridge sensors, logs, diagnostics, telemetry, and mission intel for the Dot team.

You will architect and develop end-to-end systems with a high degree of autonomy, set roadmaps, and deliver intuitive tools for on-road and simulation use, with a strong emphasis on 3D graphics and web technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development.
• Fluency with React and Typescript.
• Experience in 3D computer graphics.
• Comfortable independently identifying and solving problems with high levels of ambiguity.
• Excel at working cross-functionally with stakeholders up and down the stack.

Responsibilities

• Own applications for introspecting robot data and bridge sensors, logs, diagnostics, telemetry, and mission intel.
• Architect and develop end-to-end systems with a high degree of autonomy.
• Set roadmaps and identify opportunities for new systems.
• Create intuitive, practical and delightful tools for on-road and simulation use.
• Maintain a robust visualization framework and data workflows for the Dot team.
