Qualifications

• 4+ years of data governance, transformation, management, quality, integration, privacy, or related roles.
• Experience supporting data governance in migration, modernization, archival, analytics programs.
• Familiarity with unstructured content governance (mail, files, collaboration platforms, service records).
• Ability to document ownership, retention, and data protection controls.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise data governance frameworks for acquired-company integration and retention.
• Embed governance requirements into migration, modernization, and analytics enablement activities.
• Build and maintain data estate inventory across structured and unstructured content.
• Catalog content by category, sensitivity, ownership, and disposal needs.
• Prepare handling recommendations for content categories for migration planning.
• Review unstructured content for regulated material and document handling requirements.
• Identify data owners and maintain ownership documentation across domains.
• Prepare approval records for new or changed data use and external sharing.
• Verify ownership and approvals to ensure an auditable trail at disposal.
• Apply retention categories and document disposal timing for acquired data.
