Job summary

Grant Thornton (US) is seeking a Data Transformation & Governance Associate to help embed governance and data standards across acquisitions and analytics enablement. You will work with both structured systems and unstructured content, ensuring data migration, archival, and compliance support.

You will collaborate with data governance leads, security and privacy stakeholders, and implementation partners to keep onboarding data organized, traceable, and aligned with enterprise expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain governance documentation and ownership records for acquired‑company data.
• Support data transformation initiatives, including migration, archival, and analytics readiness.
• Inventory and classify unstructured content across mail, files, chat, and collaboration platforms.
• Ensure retention, access controls, and disposal timing align with enterprise standards.
• Document data lineage, metadata, and data definitions to support governance.
