Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Analyst of Data Strategy within the Data Strategy team at Business Solutions. You will support strategic decisions through data analysis, build executive-ready insights, and drive data-driven recommendations using Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools.

The role requires strong business acumen, project management, and ability to communicate insights clearly. Familiarity with Alteryx/Tableau Prep is a plus, reporting to the VP of Data Strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years in finance, business strategy, data analytics, management consulting, or similar experience
• Advanced Excel skills: complex modeling, sensitivity analyses, and large data sets
• Strong PowerPoint skills: structure narratives, visualize data, and communicate findings to senior leadership
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
• Experience presenting to senior executives to drive understanding of key business drivers

Responsibilities

• Supply/Demand management of Business Lines with cross-functional teams
• Metric reporting: monthly performance, operating and customer satisfaction metrics
• Data Analysis: segmentation, visualization, KPIs monitoring across LPL
• Project Management: pricing analysis, NPS analysis, cross-functional projects
• Storytelling: executive-level presentations and business cases
