Job summary

Nx-dt is seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Consultant to strengthen our Data & Analytics practice. This is a customer-facing role blending presales, solution consulting, technical expertise, and account growth across US clients.

You’ll partner with Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success to design scalable data solutions, advise clients, and drive business expansion. You’ll lead discovery workshops, architect modern data platforms, deliver demos/POCs, and mentor delivery teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Azure certifications preferred; Fabric, Power BI, Snowflake, or Databricks certifications are a plus.
10–15 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI, or Analytics Consulting, ideally in IT services/consulting with US clients.
Strong expertise in SQL Server with advanced query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery workshops, design modern data architectures, prepare proposals/SOWs, and deliver demos/POCs.
Provide deep consulting on SQL Server, Azure SQL, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, and modern data platforms.
Design Data Warehouses, Data Lakes/Lakehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI solutions with Power BI/Tableau.
Build trusted client relationships, identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and advise on modernization, cloud migration, and AI initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor, review solution designs, mentor delivery teams, and ensure alignment with best practices.
Create reusable solution assets, case studies, and technical collateral; support marketing with webinars and sessions.
