Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking an experienced data engineer to design and build scalable data solutions and production pipelines. You will create self-service data products and Power BI dashboards for enterprise stakeholders.

The role supports hybrid/remote work with a focus on data quality, governance, and collaboration across teams. Strong Python, SQL, and BI tool proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years building production data pipelines, data solutions and Power BI dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with data quality testing frameworks and automated data tests.
• Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 3-5+ years coding for data management, data warehousing, ETL & scripting (Python).
• Experience with BI tools (SQL, Power BI, SAS, Python).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data solutions enabling self-service data consumption.
• Develop data pipelines and dashboards for data products.
• Evaluate new tools and adopt where appropriate.
• Explore Gen AI for data discovery, lineage summarization, documentation, and code generation.
• Lead and mentor junior team members to raise technical bar.
