Job summary

Lovelytics is seeking a Data Solution Architect to design and lead scalable data platforms and pipelines for clients across industries. You will architect data strategies, oversee lakehouse and warehouse implementations on Databricks, and guide delivery teams to implement ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions in the cloud.

You will partner with sales and account teams to scope engagements, shape technical proposals, and showcase engineering capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years in data engineering, analytics architecture, governance and cloud.
4+ years in a client-facing role at a professional services firm.
Proven track record designing modern data lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Expert knowledge of Databricks and Spark (required).
Experience delivering proofs of concept and presales pricing.
Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder influence.
Tech stack includes Google Workspace, MacOS, Slack, Atlassian.

Responsibilities

Formulate forward-looking data strategies aligned with client objectives.
Design and oversee lakehouse/warehouse implementations on Databricks and cloud-native tech.
Create solutions integrating on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
Architect batch and streaming ingestion, real-time processing, ELT/ETL patterns.
Ensure security, privacy, compliance, and data quality at scale.
