Job summary

Lovelytics is hiring a Data Solution Architect to design and lead modern data platforms for clients across industries. You will be hands-on in analytics architecture, defining technical strategies, and guiding delivery teams to implement ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions on the cloud.

You’ll partner with sales to scope engagements and present engineering expertise. You’ll define architectures, mentor teams, and drive feasibility, security, and data quality at scale, while

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering, analytics architecture, governance and cloud.
• 4+ years in a client-facing role in a professional services firm.
• Proven track record designing modern data lakehouses and pipelines on cloud platforms.
• Expert knowledge of Databricks and Spark is required.

Responsibilities

• Formulate data strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Lead lakehouse and warehouse implementations on Databricks and cloud-native tech.
• Design solutions integrating on-prem and multiple clouds.
• Architect batch/streaming ingestion and ETL/ELT patterns.
• Ensure security, privacy, and data quality at scale.
• Mentor engineers and review architectures and code.
• Lead technical discovery, respond to RFPs, and deliver demos/PoCs.
• Create technical blueprints and recommend tools/design patterns.
