Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Principal Specialist Sales Engineer for Data Security (SLED) to join our remote USA team. In this role you partner with sales to shape strategic opportunities, translate complex customer requirements into compelling security solutions, and lead hands-on evaluations to drive successful outcomes.

You will design evaluation plans, deliver technical presentations, and work within a matrix GTM environment to promote data protection and web technologies.

Qualifications

• BSCS or equivalent with extensive SE experience.
• 5+ years of pre-sales experience in security or networking.
• Experience with data protection and web-related technologies.
• Matrix role experience with GTM teams to promote, sell, and support the Data Security business line.
• Experience in commercial/high velocity segments.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers.
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions align to goals and needs.
• Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations.
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes.
