Job summary

Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS) seeks a Senior Data Scientist to own the analytical relationship with partner portfolios and build the machinery that answers questions about supply health, pricing competitiveness and performance weekly. You will be judged by the decisions partners make because of your work.

You will design templated, scalable reporting across hotels, flights, homes and cars, automate repetitive analyses with AI tools, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with data across multiple domains.
• Ability to turn complex technical work into simple narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Comfort with partner-facing presentations and building trust with commercial teams.
• Deep SQL skills and experience with BigQuery; fluency in Python and Pandas or R for large-scale prep.
• Hands-on use of LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot) for coding, SQL and analysis.
• Experience building automated workflows, from pipelines to LLM-driven reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytical relationship with HTS partners and present insights to partner teams.
• Design templated, repeatable reporting on supply health, pricing competitiveness and tenant performance.
• Automate repetitive analyses and reporting with AI tooling for broad adoption.
• Frame exploratory analyses and translate findings into recommendations for product/engineering/leaders.
• Apply ML and statistics to large datasets when they add value; use simple metrics when appropriate.
• Build dashboards and self-serve reporting in BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, Amplitude and Sheets.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to align data with upcoming partner questions.
