Job summary

Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS) is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own the analytical relationship with a portfolio of partners. You will build the machinery that answers questions about supply health, pricing competitiveness and performance on a weekly basis.

You will design scalable reporting, use AI tools to automate repetitive analysis, and translate complex data into clear recommendations for product, engineering and business leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills across multiple domains.
• Ability to translate complex work into simple narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Comfort presenting findings to partners and executives.
• Fluent in Python (Pandas) and SQL for large-scale data prep and analysis.
• Daily use of LLM tools for coding, SQL, analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own analytical relationship with HTS partners and cross-functional teams.
• Design and template repeatable reports on supply health and pricing competitiveness.
• Automate repetitive analyses and reporting using AI assistants and code generation tools.
• Frame explorations and translate findings into actionable recommendations for product and leadership.
• Apply ML and statistics to large datasets; choose simple metrics when appropriate.
• Build dashboards in BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, Amplitude and Google Sheets.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to align data with future questions.
