Job summary

Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS) seeks a Senior Data Scientist to own analytical relationships with partner portfolios and build machinery answering questions about supply health, pricing competitiveness and performance on a weekly cadence.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design repeatable dashboards, leverage BigQuery/Looker/Tableau, and apply ML judiciously to drive business decisions across hotels, flights, homes and cars.

Qualifications

• A degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or another quantitative discipline.
• Extremely strong analytical and problem solving skills with data-driven results across domains.
• Ability to turn complex technical work into simple, credible narratives for non-technical and executive audiences.
• Comfort presenting findings to partners and cross-functional teams.
• Deep SQL skills and experience with BigQuery, plus fluency in Python and Pandas or R for large-scale analysis.
• Hands-on experience with LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Copilot) for coding, SQL, analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytical relationship with a portfolio of HTS partners, collaborating with Partner Success and Commercial to deliver insights.
• Design and template repeatable reporting on supply health, pricing competitiveness and performance across hotels, flights, homes and cars.
• Use AI assistants and code-generation tools to automate repetitive analysis and reporting.
• Frame exploratory analyses and translate findings into clear recommendations for product, engineering and business leaders.
• Apply ML and statistics to large datasets, or choose simpler metrics when appropriate.
• Build dashboards and self-serve reporting in BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, Amplitude and Google Sheets.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure data supports future partner questions.
