Job summary

Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS) seeks a Senior Data Scientist to own analytical relationships with partner portfolios and build scalable reporting on supply health, pricing competitiveness, and performance across travel domains. You’ll use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and translate findings for product, engineering and commercial leadership.

You will apply ML and statistical methods to large datasets, develop dashboards in Looker, Tableau, and BigQuery, and collaborate closely with

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field.
• Proven ability to answer hard questions with data across multiple domains.
• Ability to translate complex technical work into simple narratives for non-technical and executive audiences.
• Comfort with partner-facing presentations and building trust with commercial teams.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BigQuery; Python/Pandas or R for large-scale data prep and analysis.
• Familiarity with LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for coding and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own analytical relationship with HTS partners and present findings to partner teams.
• Design templated, scalable reporting on supply health, pricing, and performance across hotels, flights, homes, and cars.
• Automate repetitive analysis using AI tools and promote best practices across the team.
• Frame exploratory analyses and turn insights into actionable recommendations for product, engineering, and business leaders.
• Apply ML and statistics to large datasets when it adds value; prefer simple, well-explained metrics.
• Build dashboards in BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, Amplitude and Google Sheets for self-serve reporting.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure data supports future partner questions.
