Job summary

Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS) seeks a Senior Data Scientist to own analytic relationships with partner portfolios and build scalable machinery answering questions on supply health, pricing competitiveness and performance. You will influence decisions across product, engineering and business by delivering clear data-driven insights.

You will design templated reporting across hotels, flights, homes and cars, automate repetitive analyses with AI tools, and champion dashboards in BigQuery,

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving across multiple domains.
• Ability to translate complex technical work into clear narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Comfort with partner-facing presentations and executive-level communication.
• Fluent in SQL with BigQuery; Python with Pandas or R for data prep/analysis.
• Daily use of LLM tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot).
• Experience building automated, repeatable data workflows and reports.
• Experience with data mining, ML, and statistical modeling; know when to apply them.

Responsibilities

• Own analytical relationship with HTS partners and deliver insights.
• Design repeatable reporting on supply health, pricing, and performance across hotels, flights, homes and cars.
• Automate analyses and reporting with AI assistants and code-generation tools.
• Frame explorations into actionable recommendations for product, engineering and leadership.
• Apply ML and statistical methods where they move the needle.
• Build dashboards and self-serve reporting in BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, Amplitude and Google Sheets.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to inform future questions.
