Job summary

Hopper Technology Solutions (HTS) seeks a Senior Data Scientist to own the analytical relationship with a partner portfolio and build systems that answer questions on supply health, pricing, and performance. You will deliver weekly insights and work with commercial teams to drive better decisions.

You will design repeatable dashboards, leverage AI tools for automation, and partner with product/engineering to ensure data supports future questions.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across multiple domains.
• Experience turning complex work into simple narratives for executives/partners.
• Comfort presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders and external partners.
• Fluency in Python (Pandas) and SQL; deep experience with modern data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Own analytical relationship with HTS partners and collaborate with Partner Success and Commercial teams.
• Design repeatable reporting for supply health, pricing, and performance across travel verticals.
• Automate analyses and reporting using AI assistants and code-generation tools.
• Frame exploratory analyses and translate findings into recommendations for product/engineering/business leaders.
• Apply ML/statistical methods where they move the needle; prefer simple metrics when appropriate.
• Build dashboards and self-serve reporting in BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, Amplitude and Sheets.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure data supports future questions.
