Job summary

Hopper seeks a data analytics professional to own the analytical relationship with HTS partners and translate findings into actionable recommendations. You will design scalable reports on travel supply health and pricing, and you will automate repetitive analyses with AI assistants and code-generation tools.

• Own the analytical relationship with HTS partners, working alongside commercial teams.
• Design and templatize repeatable reporting on supply health, pricing competitiveness, and performance that scales across travel verticals.
• Use AI assistants and code generation tools as everyday collaborators to automate repetitive analysis and reporting.

Day-to-Day:

• Frame and run exploratory analyses to deepen understanding of partner and traveler behavior, translating findings into clear recommendations.
• Build dashboards and self-serve reporting in BigQuery, Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, and Google Sheets.
• Partner closely with product and engineering to ensure data collection supports future partner questions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong analytical skills with a track record of answering hard questions with data across multiple domains.
• Deep SQL skills and fluency in Python and Pandas or R for large-scale data preparation.
• Experience with data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling, with judgment on when to apply them.
