Job summary

RevenueCat is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the Data Science strategy for RC Capital, building underwriting and fraud-detection foundations from the ground up.

You will work with leadership, partner with product and engineering, and analyze real-time revenue data to shape risk signals and product design.

This remote-first team spans 25+ countries; you’ll own end-to-end models and drive measurable impact as RC Capital scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years data science experience in fintech, credit, lending, or payments.
• Deep expertise in fraud and/or underwriting; risk vs growth balance.
• Strong analytical and technical skills; proficient in SQL and Python; production models.
• Experience with mobile apps or developer ecosystems.
• Owner mindset with high ownership and ability to work in ambiguity.
• Systems thinker with interest in scalable automation.
• Focus on getting the right balance of detail, speed, and impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the DS strategy for RC Capital and define underwriting models.
• Develop models for lead qualification, anomaly detection, fraud prevention, and credit underwriting.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to integrate risk signals.
• Analyze cross-platform revenue data to improve models and product design.
• Build mechanisms to measure impact and prioritize new data initiatives.
• Operate with high ownership in ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
