Maximus is seeking a senior data scientist/ML engineer to interpret results, build classifiers, and guide analytics across projects in Missouri. You will serve as an SME, applying ML and stats to support decision making and improve predictive models.

You will collaborate with business users, design robust data collection, and lead initiatives to monitor and enhance model performance, while staying current with emerging technologies within MAXIMUS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years in data analysis/science.
• Advanced ML knowledge: k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Trees.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Strong communication and leadership in projects.
• Experience with government health care programs desirable.

Responsabilités

• Interpret results using data aggregation, statistics, mining and pattern recognition.
• Select features and build classifiers with ML techniques.
• Act as SME in data and analytics for peers and stakeholders.
• Lead project management and coordinate team communications.
• Stay current with emerging tech and MAXIMUS initiatives.
• Develop automated anomaly detection and monitor model performance.
• Expand data collection for robust analytic systems.
