Qualifications

• BS, MS (preferred), or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in data analysis/science with heavy emphasis on data-driven decision making.
• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms (e.g., k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Trees).
• Experience with data science toolkits and data visualization tools.
• Advanced applied statistics skills (distributions, statistical testing, regression).
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.

Responsibilities

• Interpret results using a range of techniques from basic data aggregation to advanced data mining and pattern recognition.
• Select features and construct classifiers using cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
• Act as SME in data and analytics, guiding analysts and stakeholders.
• Identify suitable decision technology techniques for analytical frameworks (optimization, simulation, regression, etc.).
• Use statistical analysis to forecast trends and maintain reliable predictions.
• Expand data collection to support robust analytic systems.
• Develop automated anomaly detection and monitor model performance for continuous improvement.
