Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in statistics, math, OR, CS or ML or related field.
• 7+ years in data analysis/science with data-driven decisions.
• Strong understanding of ML techniques and algorithms (k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Trees).
• Experience with data science toolkits.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Advanced applied statistics skills (distributions, tests, regression).
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with large data sets and distributed/cloud tools is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Leadership in prioritizing projects and evaluating data solutions.
• Experience with business users and ROI evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret results using a range of techniques from data aggregation to advanced data mining.
• Select features and build classifiers using modern ML techniques.
• Serve as SME in data and analytics for stakeholders.
• Apply decision technology tools like optimization, regression, trees, neural networks.
• Use statistics to forecast trends and account for variability.

• Develop automated anomaly detection and monitor model performance.
