Placements24 is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a cutting-edge financial technology client. This fully remote role focuses on building and deploying advanced ML models to extract insights from complex datasets and drive data-informed product decisions.

You will design models, maintain data pipelines, run A/B tests, and mentor junior data scientists while collaborating with product, engineering, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on data science and ML experience.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong SQL and database technology experience.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced ML models and algorithms.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define data science requirements.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for analytics.
• Perform A/B testing and evaluate model performance.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with advances in data science and AI.
• Contribute to data strategy and best practices within the organization.
• Mentor junior data scientists and share knowledge.
• Ensure scalability and efficiency of deployed solutions.
