Placements24 is seeking a highly accomplished Lead Data Scientist to spearhead cutting-edge Fintech initiatives in a fully remote role, enabling work from anywhere. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science with leadership of complex projects and teams.
• Proficiency in Python or R and data science libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and SQL.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling and ML algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of ML models for fintech applications such as fraud detection and credit scoring.
• Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and business units to identify data-driven opportunities.
• Define best practices in data science, including model validation, A/B testing, and MLOps.
