Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Data Scientist for a remote-first AI and predictive analytics role. You will design, train, and deploy ML models, work with large datasets, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to bring AI solutions to production.

Requirements include a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field, 5+ years in data science, Python or R, and experience with cloud data services; strong communication and ability to mentor teammates in a distributed setup.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of hands-on data science and ML experience with predictive modeling.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy advanced ML models for predictive analytics, classification, regression, and clustering.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Design and implement data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate AI models into production applications.
• Design and conduct A/B tests to evaluate model performance and impact.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in data science and AI.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's knowledge base.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout analysis.
