Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms for financial applications, such as fraud detection, credit scoring, algorithmic trading, and customer segmentation.
• Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product management, and business units to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation.
• Define and champion best practices in data science, including model validation, A/B testing, and MLOps.
• Conduct advanced statistical analysis and interpret complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, and apply them to solve business problems.
• Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
• Drive the data strategy and roadmap for Fintech products.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and teams.
• Extensive experience with Python or R, and proficiency in relevant data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy).
• Strong experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and SQL.
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design.
• Experience in the Fintech or financial services industry is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote , collaborative environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
