Job summary

Intuit is hiring a Senior Staff Data Scientist to support the Credit Karma Engagement workstream in Charlotte, North Carolina. This on-site role focuses on shaping analytics strategy for engagement and lifecycle initiatives, using experimentation and causal inference to improve long-term member retention.

You will partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design to build reusable analytics frameworks, design advanced experiments (A/B/n, DiD, Synthetic Control), and mentor junior data

Qualifications

• 9+ years of data science and analytics leadership with impact across initiatives
• Experience in consumer product engagement, retention, or fintech a plus
• Ability to translate strategy into analytics problems at business-unit level
• Proven ability to design and interpret complex experiments beyond traditional A/B tests
• Expertise in causal inference, segmentation, and experimentation design
• Experience building reusable analytics frameworks adopted by teams
• Strong communication and influence across Directors and VPs

Responsibilities

• Set data science strategy across Credit Karma engagement initiatives and lifecycle end-to-end
• Influence cross-functional leaders including Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design
• Research and apply ML and causal inference approaches for engagement and churn prevention
• Design complex experiments (A/B/n, painted-door, bandits) and apply causal methods (Propensity Score, DiD, Synthetic Control) when needed
• Develop segmentation strategies to strengthen targeting and in-product experience
• Co-create analytics and AI strategy for engagement while guiding phased testing and rollout
• Mentor Data Scientists and scale impact through best practices
