Job summary

Premier, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advise on predictive analytics and complex data problems. You will lead development, delivery, and maintenance of data solutions across IT and client operations, focusing on high-dimensional datasets and scalable models.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Data Science leadership, Product, and Development teams to produce practical, value-driven insights and to advance Premier methodologies.

Qualifications

• Statistical models including regression, t-tests, z-tests, Naïve Bayes and Monte Carlo (R or Python).
• Clinical data references including UB, 1500 claims, HL7, CDA, EHR and standard healthcare taxonomies.
• Advanced querying techniques with ETL and 3-tier application context using Oracle, DB2, Postgres, SQL Server, and Netezza.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ML algorithms and statistical models across teams.
• Lead design of complex data solutions with consistent Premier methodology.
• Translate prototypes into products and guide large-scale adoption.
• Design and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms for value extraction.
• Provide data-driven insights from highly dimensional datasets.
