Job summary

Premier seeks a Senior Data Scientist to advise on structured and unstructured analytics, ensuring quality and reusability across the organization. The role covers data exploration, complex high-dimensional datasets, and strategic initiatives in AI, ML, and NLP.

You will lead development, delivery, and support of IT data infrastructure, with a focus on innovative, probabilistic modeling and enterprise-ready solutions. Remote work is available within the US.

Qualifications

• Experience with probabilistic and predictive models using R or Python.
• Clinical data handling including UB, 1500 claims, HL7, CDA, EHR.
• Strong SQL querying across multiple databases and warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and teams to implement ML algorithms and models.
• Design complex data solutions ensuring Premier methodology consistency.
• Translate prototypes into products and guide large-scale deployment.
• Develop predictive and AI solutions from high-dimensional data.
• Share data science know-how and mentor teammates.
