Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a senior data scientist/engineer to perform analytics, ML tool development, and data-influenced decision support. You will build predictive systems, work with large datasets, and deploy scalable architectures across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will collaborate on open-source libraries, design asynchronous frameworks, and implement robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, and leading visualization tools. We value experience with AWS, Redis, and microservices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in the labor category with recent work.
• Experience communicating complex information clearly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Conducts data analytics, data mining, and statistical analysis to inform decisions.
• Develops ML tools such as recommendation engines or predictive models.
• Designs and deploys distributed caching and cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborates on open-source libraries and microservices tooling.
• Works with AWS, Cloud Foundry, and OpenShift platforms.
