Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, AI to execute data science, ML, and generative/agentic AI initiatives powering priority AI use cases. You will partner with AI Product Managers, Engineers, Clinical teams, and Governance to translate questions into rigorous data science solutions.

The role focuses on predictive modeling, LLM/agent-based capabilities, evaluation, and productionizing AI assets that improve clinical workflows and enterprise performance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent in a quantitative field.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled analytics and product impact.
• Hands-on with Python, SQL and ML frameworks; healthcare domain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate business questions into rigorous data science problems.
• Develop predictive models, LLM- and agent-based capabilities.
• Prototype, validate, and productionalize AI solutions in workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to measure impact and iteration.
