Job summary

Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation seeks a Senior Manager, Data Science to lead personalization initiatives and a team of data scientists. You will guide weekly to annual strategy with cross-functional partners in marketing, merchandising, and IT to drive personalized customer experiences.

You will oversee the personalization engine, collaborate with engineering to advance capabilities, and steer advanced analytics and ML projects across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, machine learning or related field required; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Ideal candidate will have at least 8 years’ experience in data science or machine learning demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ideal candidate would also have at least 5 years’ experience in a joint business/technical role responsible for both development and delivering business results.
• Advanced level of experience with databases, scripting, and BI tools (Azure, Power BI, Databricks, Python).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and ability to work with large, complex data sources.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and develop a small team of data scientists.
• Participate in goal and objective setting and create plans to achieve goals within budget.
• Maintain and enhance personalization engine and backlog of feature enhancements.
