Job summary

Fanatics Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Marketing and Personalization in San Mateo, CA. This hybrid role focuses on improving marketing effectiveness through data science and ML, including propensity modeling, segmentation, and LTV.

You will partner with Marketing, Product, CRM, and Engineering to deliver production-ready solutions that drive measurable business impact. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in marketing data science, strong statistics and ML fundamentals, and proficiency

Qualifications

• BS or higher in a technical or quantitative field (CS, OR, Stats, Economics, etc.).
• Hands-on work in marketing data science or related areas (5+ years).
• Experience building and deploying ML models in production.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy ML models for marketing and personalization use cases.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, CRM, and Engineering to translate problems into data science solutions.
• Explore data, engineer features, evaluate models, and drive deployment in production systems.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices in modeling and code quality.
