Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in data science or ML engineering, including 5+ years in people leadership.
• Proven experience leading teams through complex initiatives from direction to production deployment.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with modern data platforms and cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of ML systems, statistical modeling, experimentation, and SDLC.
• Experience with DevOps, MLOps, containerization, automation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of data scientists and ML engineers, delivering personalization initiatives at scale.
• Set team strategy, roadmap, and priorities translating business goals into high-impact data science initiatives.
• Partner with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Revenue, and Data Science to align technical decisions with outcomes.
• Guide the development and deployment of ML systems across the full model lifecycle with rigorous design, testing, and iteration.
• Influence architecture of model-driven experiences, including data pipelines, feature generation, and serving (batch and real-time).
• Advance software engineering and MLOps practices across the team, including automation, testing, and production monitoring.
• Own capacity planning and resource allocation, balancing business value, tech investment, and team capacity.
• Build a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement to deliver measurable impact.
