Job summary

SAIF Corporation is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Data Management & Analytics team in Oregon. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and governance across pipelines, ETL, and reporting, while championing automated testing and quality practices.

You will lead QA efforts, collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders, and help shape the data quality culture throughout the analytics lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of QA and software testing experience (manual and automated).
• Experience testing data and analytics products, including data validation and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python, and test automation with CI/CD.
• Experience working with Agile teams and business partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and validation for data pipelines, ETL, reports, and analytics solutions.
• Design and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and automated tests.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality.
• Participate in release planning and communicate quality metrics to leadership.
• Improve QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
• Provide on-call support and assist with production issue troubleshooting.
